What the craft?
Has it really been more than two weeks since I last blogged? Summer is here and I love it. My work schedule is back to Tuesdays and Thursdays with my old client that is an absolute crack up. Quote of the day yesterday, "so can only hot chicks boob feed their babies?" I was laughing so hard my face hurt. The weather has been amazing. Hot hot hot. I have been doing "boot camp" three mornings a week at 6 am and I am still walking with Kori and the kids a couple days a week and then running by myself on our off days. You would think with all of the working out I have been doing I would be able to shed the last of my "baby" weight. No such luck yet. Hopefully soon, it would be nice to be able to completely zip up my jeans. We went up to the cabin for the fourth and took Addi on the Alpine slide in Big Bear. This week I have been cleaning out all of my closets to put all of our excess stuff in storage. I turned 28 last week. I am officially old. Von is now seven months, and hopefully this week I will get around to taking some new pictures of him. And my original reason for my entry today is my sister, Katie has a new craft blog. Check it out, it is whatthecraft.blogspot.com. She is way more crafty than me. She is an amazing cook and seamstress. Try her recipes, they will not disappoint. Oh, and the Nordstrom sale starts this week. One of my favorite parts of summer. As a kid, every year my mom would take us their to stock up on new school clothes and when Katie and I still lived at home, we would wake up at five a.m., drive 45 minutes to the Alderwood mall to be there on the first day when it opened at seven. We would spend all of our summer earnings in a day and hide half of the things that we bought in our car so that our parents would not see how much we actually spent. Good times. It is a nostalgic place for us. When I was little, I wanted to be the piano player there. Unknown to Ian (until now) I have already made my first purchase. I pre-sale ordered a pair of Steve Madden boots for Addi. Too cute. I can't wait until they come.

Thanks for the updates! I love the craft blog. You girls are so talented. And holy cow, your workout routine...I bet you are gaining muscle. I'm sure you look amazing. Those last few baby pounds are so hard to lose. I'm still hanging on to them. :(
I love the shopping story. Thanks for shopping with us at H&M last week. I'm dying over the cute boy jeans for Jake that you told me about.
How could anyone be craftier than you?
