Last weekend we went to Brian Head with the Clawsons and Davis family. It was so fun to be in the snow. Addi loved sledding and the skiing was great. We can't wait until next year!

After the aquarium, we headed up to the mountains to be with Ian's family for Easter. We introduced Addi to the Wii, she is soon to be pro at tennis. I am a very proud mom. She also learned how to "milk" an injury for all that it is worth. While at the aquarium, she fell, hurting the top of her foot. She "limped" around all weekend when she learned that she was getting extra attention. Here is a little video of her. Still today, when she was at Ian's mom's house she was pretending to limp. It's hilarious, although I hope that there is no real injury.
Nada Surf
Ian and I had the chance to see Nada Surf last week, thanks to Brooke who got us the tickets for Ian's birthday. It was a great show, so much fun to see a band that we both love. Here is a clip of them, it is my favorite song that they play, so check it out.

Our little Laker Girl
It is rare that I make it to Ian's city league basketball games. Usually they are late and Addi is already in bed, or I just don't feel like chasing her around the gym. We went this week, however, to watch, so of course I had to dress Addi in her Laker's cheer outfit. She loved watching Daddy and Papa play in the game. She would yell, "Go get 'em Daddy" or "Go Papa go!" It was so cute. And luckily Uncle Frank was there to entertain her.
Happy Birthday Ian!
Ian turned 29 on Tuesday. Unfortunately I had to work late, so we just went to King's Fish House for dinner and then grabbed Addi from the Clawson's. On Saturday, however, we get to make our annual trip to Ruth's Chris with Ian's family for his birthday. Go big or go home, right? I think I look forward to that meal more than Christmas. When we got to the Clawson's Brooke took this pic with her Polaroid camera. Polaroids are totally Ian's style, it's like a little flash back to the 80's.
So much to blog about...
Last week, Erin, Josh and Eliza came into town. It was so good to see them and be able to spend time with Erin who lives way to far away for my liking. Erin was here for a whole week, so it was fun filled. We did what we do best, mostly, which involves sitting at home and watching TV. We did fit in a trip to the zoo with Jaime and a craft day. It was the first time I got to meet Eliza, she is too cute.
Addi and "Chubbie" are in love. Little do they know we have already arranged their marriage. They had so much fun at the zoo together.
Addi wears her glasses on her hear just like her mom. It's amazing how much kids notice.
Notice the chocolate on Addi's face. A little bribery was need throughout the day for our little girl to behave herself. "NNN's" (M&M's in Addi language) do the trick.
Future BFFs.

Everyone set your tivo. Shabby Baby will be on Good Things Utah this Thursday. We are going to introduce a new dress as well as larger sizes. We have had the Vineyard dress (by far our best seller) made in new fabric, as well as the original in sizes 6-12. We had several requests from moms to make modest dresses for the "tweens," so here they are! My niece, nephew and cousin Chelsey will all be modeling, so be sure to watch.

Ian has been on an ice cream kick lately. It all started a couple of months ago, when the Blad's reintroduced Ian to the classic, Chocolate Malted Crunch. There has been a carton of ice cream in of one flavor or another ever since. This ice cream, however, is truly worth blogging about. Ben & Jerry's Cinnamon Bun Ice Cream. Need I say more. It is carmel ice cream with a swirl of cinnamon, topped off with chunks of cinnamon bun dough. Everyone out there needs to give it a try. To our own detriment, we are currently out and tonight girl scout cookies will have to do to satisfy our sugar fix.
