Ian turned 29 on Tuesday. Unfortunately I had to work late, so we just went to King's Fish House for dinner and then grabbed Addi from the Clawson's. On Saturday, however, we get to make our annual trip to Ruth's Chris with Ian's family for his birthday. Go big or go home, right? I think I look forward to that meal more than Christmas. When we got to the Clawson's Brooke took this pic with her Polaroid camera. Polaroids are totally Ian's style, it's like a little flash back to the 80's.

So much to blog about...
Last week, Erin, Josh and Eliza came into town. It was so good to see them and be able to spend time with Erin who lives way to far away for my liking. Erin was here for a whole week, so it was fun filled. We did what we do best, mostly, which involves sitting at home and watching TV. We did fit in a trip to the zoo with Jaime and a craft day. It was the first time I got to meet Eliza, she is too cute.
Addi and "Chubbie" are in love. Little do they know we have already arranged their marriage. They had so much fun at the zoo together.
Addi wears her glasses on her hear just like her mom. It's amazing how much kids notice.
Notice the chocolate on Addi's face. A little bribery was need throughout the day for our little girl to behave herself. "NNN's" (M&M's in Addi language) do the trick.
Future BFFs.

Everyone set your tivo. Shabby Baby will be on Good Things Utah this Thursday. We are going to introduce a new dress as well as larger sizes. We have had the Vineyard dress (by far our best seller) made in new fabric, as well as the original in sizes 6-12. We had several requests from moms to make modest dresses for the "tweens," so here they are! My niece, nephew and cousin Chelsey will all be modeling, so be sure to watch.

Ian has been on an ice cream kick lately. It all started a couple of months ago, when the Blad's reintroduced Ian to the classic, Chocolate Malted Crunch. There has been a carton of ice cream in of one flavor or another ever since. This ice cream, however, is truly worth blogging about. Ben & Jerry's Cinnamon Bun Ice Cream. Need I say more. It is carmel ice cream with a swirl of cinnamon, topped off with chunks of cinnamon bun dough. Everyone out there needs to give it a try. To our own detriment, we are currently out and tonight girl scout cookies will have to do to satisfy our sugar fix.

Wicked
So, I am catching up with my blogging today. Life has just been way too busy. Valentine's Day this year was a family affair. Ian and Bret planned the whole night which started with dropping Addi off at the Blad's and then heading to Kobe's for dinner. The best part of the night was not, however, the filet mignon, but seeing Wicked. It was my first time and it was AMAZING. So funny and well done. All of you who have not seen it yet, it is a must! Thanks to Shandra (and her blog) here are a few pics of the night!

Reunion
So, back in the days at Ricks nine long years ago, Heidi Hansen, Jaime Porter and I would trek up to Grand Targhee on a regular basis. Unknown to our parents (at the time) we all bought season passes and scheduled our classes only on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays so we could spend the Winter in the snow. We would drive up in "Foxy," my trusty Jeep and pray that we would make in home in one piece. On occasion, I would maybe lose a little control. I did grow up no where near snow, and really thought as long as I had my car in 4-wheel drive we would be just fine. Well, a few weekends ago, Jaime and I had great reunion with the snow, minus Heidi and Foxy. We went with Ian and Dan up to Snow Valley and spent the day reminicing. It was the most fun I had had in a long time. I had forgotten how much I LOVE to ski. Here are a couple of pictures, one from back in the day (I would have posted more, but my hair was just way to ugly), and a few from our recent trip.
