I love that my kids love each other so much (in between punching each other and fighting a lot of the time).  Everyday when we pick Addi up from school, Von runs up to her as soon as she gets out of her classroom door and they give each other hugs and then hold hands as they walk out to the car.

My grandpa has all sorts of motorized vehicles in his garage.  Since he can't legally drive, he has bought other mode of transportation which he drives all over the island.  He has his four wheeler, motorized scooter, motorize bicycle, and has bought the kids a Hot Wheels Jeep and four wheeler of their own.

The weather was not really warm, I didn't think they would be getting in the water, so I didn't bring any swim suits.  That didn't stop them.

The house I grew up in is in the left hand side of the picture.  We had such a great view, but my parent's traded up for a house on the beach on the other side of the island.

Legoland

And then the day before we flew out, we went to Legoland on our way up to Huntington Beach.  We stayed the night there because we had an early morning flight and our flights were planned before we knew we were moving.

They have a new Star Wars Miniland.  If you like Star Wars, it is really cool.  

And since I am married to Ian I am required to like Star Wars.

And instgram makes it so much cooler.

We also hit up the zoo with Jaime and the kids.

Mission Bay Park

 Before we left for Washington, I wanted to take the kids out to do a few different things because the day after we flew back Addi started school.  We went out to Mission Bay Park and took their scooters.

 Von desperately tried to keep up with Addi.  It didn't really happen.

It was a great putting made even greater by stopping at Yogurtland on the way home.  That is something I have missed since moving.  There is Yogurtland down here, but it's to close, so our weekly trips (or two or three times a week) has changed to about once a month.

VBS

A few weeks ago the kids attended Vacation Bible School at the church where Luke goes to preschool.  It was awesome.  Not only were both of the kids able to go, but they had it at night from 5-8.  Which meant Ian and I got to go out sans kids and I got to run errands without two fighting children in my cart!  I was a little hesitant to leave Von in a  new place without either of us, but he did great!  Every night he would get in the car and ramble on, "bible school fun!" or "it was awesome!" or "I love bible school!"  He was so cute.  According to both of them he cried the first night after I left, he told me, "I cry bible school."  And then when I proceeded to ask him about it he got mad and yelled several times, "NO!  I FINE!"  Presumably afraid that I wouldn't let him go back.

He sat so well with all of the kids.  He is such a big boy now.  He's not my baby anymore :(
