2 months old

Von turned two months old last week. He had his two month doctor's appointment and we were surprised by his stats. He weighs 13 pounds, 8 ounces! And was 24 inches. He was in the 90 percentile for weight, 85 percentile for height and 50 percentile for head size. He is so different than Addi in so many ways. She was always so petite (with the exception of her huge head, always in the 90 percentile). This picture shows what a tank he has become as well as how our nights are still going. You would think with how big he is, he would be sleeping better. He just really likes to eat. He is definitely a Clawson.

My next door neighbor, Jenny took these pictures of Von when he was 3 weeks old. I am so glad that I have them as a reminder of how little he was.

Kelly's Shower

We had a bridal shower for one of my favorite people last weekend. Kelly is getting married next month, so it was time to celebrate.

Happy Birthday Bronson!

For Bronson's birthday yesterday, we had a Super Bowl/Ugly Sweater Party at the Clawson's. Everyone looked fabulous in their "vintage" sweaters. Buck's took the cake, however. Have you ever seen anything better than this? Seriously. It looked great on Addi as well.

You know you are tired...

When you try to change the channel on the TV, your thumb moving up and down. And then you realize you are not holding the remote. I am just ending week seven of sleep deprivation, hoping it will get better soon.

One month old

Von turned one month old yesterday. He is getting so big already. I, however am still waiting for the day that he decides to sleep more than a few hours at a time at night. His sleep habits are great compared to what we went through with Addi, so I guess I cannot complain. He is finally willing to nurse again. He was put on a bottle a few days after he was born because of the jaundice and was on it for almost a week, which made him not want me at all. But these last few days, he has had a change in heart and is doing great. We are so happy that he is a part of our little family and can't wait to see more of his personality come out.

Von's Blessing

We blessed Von on the 4th.  My parents were in town, so took the opportunity to do it while they were here.  He was so good, and slept through the whole thing.  Princess Addi
